Tarot

A lot of people think that Tarot is very accurate, but they don’t know the true mechanism of how the tarot cards work. I cannot guarantee this is 100% correct, but I am speaking from my own understanding and experiences. Again, even if you think I am wrong, you can’t prove it, because this is just how it is in the mystical world.

Tarot reading is a type of fortune telling. Amateurs (like I was 2-5 years ago) think that you are using the cards to tell you the fortune. Some websites said that you have to connect with your cards – does that make the cards holy? I don’t agree with connecting with the cards and making the cards sacred. After learning Reiki and getting into the New Age stuff, I found that tarot cards are just a medium for the spirit guides to communicate with you. Just like the Ouija Board – the spirits give you advice and messages through the cards. So that’s why if you give the regular playing cards a set of meanings, you can use it to do fortune telling too.

Heard of how other people say, the more you use the tarot cards, the more accurate it is? That’s because the cards (the energy that lies in there) are used to the way you read fortunes. You already have your own personalized standards for each card’s meaning. So, for an experienced reader, the same card would have a different meaning to each tarot reader. If you are an amateur, you’d just read off the book. Then everything will be the same. I didn’t say reading off the book is not accurate. It would be accurate too but the accuracy is lower. Remember – the cards come out because of a spirit’s guidance. Some people can interpret a card the wrong way, and that’s why you need the following…

Intuition. A good tarot reader, some say, is about telling a good story. That’s bull shit.  I think that if you try to tell a good story, it encourages you to lie and make up things. I’ve talked to a tarot reader who used to tell a story for each tarot spread. She talked for 5 to 10 minutes nonstop, giving a lot of details. But the details don’t have anything to do with the question, it’s just wasting your time and trying to confuse you. I hate those people. So, back to the point. To me, a good tarot reader will be using his or her own psychic ability or intuition to read. I have done readings for other people before, and as I type the answer to the question in an email, I’ve had thoughts that just jumped out of my head. That instinct is basically the psychic ability kicking in….you don’t really use your brain to analyze that much. Whatever that pops up is usually the best answer to give.
