Touching Story

I heard a story today that is very touching. It's a real story that belonged to an unknown old woman:

When the old woman was young, she fell in love with a rich young man in mainland China. She was from a poor family, they wanted to stay together. The rich family refused so they chained her up under a tree.

Years went by, the young man never gave up, they spent nights together. One day the young woman became pregnant. The family never freed her. She was chained up during her pregnancy, even till the child was born. She took care of her child while chained up. She was pregnant the second time. All this time, the family never fed her. She was fed by the fellow villagers and her lover.

Six years went by, she was finally freed. She had nurtured 2 children all chained up.

I don't know anymore details than that. All I know is that she never got married with the man, he went to some other country after that and married another rich woman. The poor woman was left with her kids, staying true to her love.

So sad....
