During my visit on Freddy last Saturday, I had given Freddy some Reiki healing to help him “heal better”. I could say that I don’t know how it could help, all I can say is that it will be much better than not having Reiki. Period.

 

During the Reiki session, I kept asking Freddy what he was feeling. He said he felt something but he couldn’t tell me what he was feeling. I guess if you’re new to Reiki, it’s hard to describe the feeling. I remember when I received my first Reiki treatment, I was too chicken to describe what I was feeling because the sensation was so minute and so subtle that it almost seemed like I was imagining it. But after the Reiki teacher asked me, do you feel a tingles, or surges or energy, or zapping sensation, or heat waves…..then I could finally place the sensations with words.

 

The reason why I kept asking what the recipient felt was, everyone is different. And I am unsure of my healing abilities – is it there? Is it working? Is it strong? I can guess some of these answers, but hearing a confirmation makes me feel good.

 

Overall I’m happy with the results. At least Freddy is feeling something from me. He said that with his hand/arm, he felt hot air coming up from his hand to his arm. Hot air is actually different from saying “heat” from his hand. Because if he only felt heat from my hands and his, that would mean my hands were giving him the heat. He said hot air – to me, hot air is constantly moving and not stagnant. Next I gave Freddy Reiki through his right foot. He said it’s a different feeling from his hand, but he was unable to describe what he felt. But overall I could tell that he felt good and energized.  =)  I’m so happy.

 

Maybe even as people receive Reiki treatments, they don’t really understand what it really is. They would say that Reiki is an energy – but where did the energy come from? Why is it there? It is beyond Physics and Science could explain (they could explain it but not with math and science). Isn’t this some kind of miracle? Then doesn’t this energy and reiki thing lead to other possibilities? This universe is truly too profound to understand….that’s why I always say “WHY NOT…?”
