I have applied for voluntary service at Brigham & Women’s Hospital for giving Reiki treatments. Now the person in charge wants to interview me – I had expected just a phone call asking me for my background, never really expected any interviews. So I’ve scheduled it for tomorrow at 10. I’m a little nervous. But after reading this, I am more than nervous. I feel like I’ll be tested and it takes a lot of courage from me, and this is all volunteer work. This isn’t as relaxing as volunteer work. But I can imagine the accomplishment if I am healing people.

So I need proof that I am attuned to Reiki II – that’s easy. I thought Reiki I would be the minimum, that surprised me.
I need to demonstrate 3 treatments in front of other people, evaluating my interpersonal skills. What interpersonal skills do I need? Ahh…..
They require weekly commitments. I was thinking about committing every other week, for 4 hours each…don’t know how they will think about that.
Just a little concerned….sounds very strict.
